Until next time…

In light of recent events, we’ve decided to shut down our blog and Facebook page as well. A year ago when I started the blog I asked myself if I was willing to subject our family to public scrutiny of our lives and to surrender a certain about of privacy and I guess the short answer to that question has become “no longer”. The longer answer is that we’re finding the information we share out here is finding its way into the hands of locals and now threatening both our privacy, and our personal property. We no longer want people knowing our every move, where our personal property is located, etc so I just feel like its time to shut it down. I really wish it didn’t have to be this way, but it’s important that we remember that not everyone who follows our blog cares about us, or has our best interests in mind. Some are doing it for their own motives and we learned that the hard way recently.

We appreciate the fellowship we’ve shared with you all out here and perhaps we’ll get a chance to cross paths again some day.
